Then users need a four digit pass code for the Watch and suddenly the Mac contents are all yours.
This would not happen if the Apple ecosystem were not so tightly bound. It is only having the devices that are closely connected and interact and communicate with each other and that an Apple Watch is able to unlock an iPhone when the users faced is obscured. It is not to say that the Apple can’t work out the way to have both and it let the users have to their cake and eat it. But the issue is anyone who steals the iPhone and Apple watch only have a trivial obstacle to surmount, and to gain access to all of the users personal files and information, and that is far from the security conscious Apple.
