Meta has announced the arrival of a new split payment feature on Facebook messenger. This feature, as the name suggests, will allow you to calculate and share costs right away on the Facebook messenger. This feature actually looks to bring an original way of sharing debt, and expenses for example, separating a dinner bill from friends. By using this new split payment feature, Facebook users who submit to Facebook will be able to split the debt equally or adjust individual combinations, including their own.
The agency took over from its blog post to announce a new split feature on Facebook messenger. 9 to 5 MAC reports that this new distinction feature is still in BETA and will only be available to US users initially. The release will begin early after through testing. As mentioned, it will help users to share billing costs, expenses and payments. This feature is especially useful for those who use an apartment and are in need of a monthly budget to cover their expenses. It may also be helpful to have a crowded dinner.
With a split payment, users can add the number of cost, people that need to be divided and automatically the entered amount will be divided into equal parts. The user can also modify the contribution of each person, including his or her own.

To use split payments, click the start button in the group chat or in the payment area on the messenger. Users can change the offer in a separate payment option and send a notification to all users who need to pay. After entering the personal message and confirming your Facebook payment details, the request will be sent and displayed in the group chat series.
Once someone has made a payment you can mark their work as completed. The split payment feature will automatically consider your assignment and calculate the ownership value accordingly.
