iFixit is the Repair website that is about to suggest official replacement parts for Pixel smartphones via cooperation with Google.
This is already been trading spare parts of third-party for Pixel gadgets. However, it now seems like Google is openly getting behind the effort, quoting the requirement to manufacture environment-friendly sustainable products.

Original spare parts will be added with displays, camera modules, batteries, and more beginning with the Google Pixel 2 to the current Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro, in addition to future Pixel models
Anticipate for the official replacement parts to start coming on the website of iFixit.com later in this year 2022. Meanwhile, the parts would only be accessible for customers in the UK, Canada, US, Australia, and EU countries, where Pixel phones have been dispatched.

The companies are making plans for vending the spare parts as separate components and a bunch that will include iFixit toolboxes for making the manual mends. “Each of the kits comes with the opener, our opening tool made to put in heat immediately in a direct and even way to case components connected with adhesive,” iFixit CEO Kyle Wiens wrote down in a post on the blog. “The kits are also equipped with the replacement pre-cut adhesive for securing and re-waterproofing your Pixel.” Furthermore, iFixit will carry on publishing step-by-step guides on how to repair Pixel smartphones, making it comfortable for the owners to do the repairing on their own accord.
The information comes after both Valve and Samsung declared similar partnerships to supply replacement parts for the Steam Deck console and Galaxy devices.
