Lenovo revealed ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 at CES 2023, boasting a rotating,13.3-inch 2.8K OLED show and an e-Ink display with a unique twist hinge. Discuss a laptop with a twist.
Following its direction of innovative PC plans, similar to last year’s 17-inch ThinkBook In addition to Gen 3 with a built 8-inch LCD, Lenovo’s new, twistable ThinkBook expects to “rehash” the 2-in-1 laptop classification, all while “keeping up with the core attributes of ThinkBook Plus Gen 2.”
Alongside its 12-inch e-Ink display, most recent 13th Gen Intel Core processors, and standard-size pen pointer support on both the OLED and e-Ink display, the ThinkBook Plus Twist is one of the more interesting laptops of CES 2023 (up to this point). The Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Twist is set to launch in June 2023, with costs starting at $1,649. Lenovo still can’t seem to announce specific specs in the engine, but we can expect a 13th Gen Intel computer chip powering the PC.

The ThinkBook Plus Twist is reminiscent of the first generation of Tablet computers, systems that utilized a swivel hinge in the middle of the display. Fortunately, this hinge is smooth and remains nearly hidden from view.
The 13.3-inch OLED display has thin bezels, but the because the 12-inch E-Ink display on the contrary side is smaller it has chunkier bezels.

How about we start with the 12-inch variety E-Ink touch display because that makes the ThinkBook Plus Twist unique? This panel has a refresh rate of simply 12Hz, but it supports both touch and pen input.

Lenovo isn’t releasing a lot of subtleties around the specs for the ThinkBook Plus Twist, however, we do have some general data. It will be controlled by 13th gen Intel Core processors and up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Smash. Furthermore, there is up to 1TB of SSD storage.
Different highlights include Intel integrated graphics, a full HD RGB camera with shutter, and double mics for noise cancellation during video calls.
The ThinkBook Plus Twist houses a 56Wh battery. Lenovo isn’t giving any figures yet for battery duration, so we’ll be interested to test the two screens using our web surfing battery test.
