Apple’s preparing another iMac that could launch as soon as the second half of this current year, as per a report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. While the new iMac will reportedly include a similar 24-inch show size as the past model, it’s expected to accompany an all the more remarkable M3 chip made with a 3nm process.
The new iMac isn’t supposed to enter mass production until any less than 90 days, Gurman notes, but could still begin delivering in the last 50% of this current year in the same colorways as its ancestor, including blue, silver, pink, and orange. Gurman says the new iMac is at “an advanced stage of development” and that Apple’s presently “leading production trial of the machine.” This tracks with previous rumors from Gurman, which also indicated a 2023 iMac launch.
Different details uncovered by Gurman demonstrate that a portion of the iMac’s internal components could get “migrated and redesigned,” and that the creation interaction for mounting the iMac’s stand to the presentation is “unique.” The iMac is late for an upgrade. Apple hasn’t refreshed its setup in two years, with the 2021 model being quick to accompany the organization’s in-house silicon, alongside a bigger showcase size and a variety of new colors.

In addition to the processor upgrade, it also seems like a portion of the internal parts will get a revival. Moreover, there will also be another interaction for joining the stand to the PC. It’s obscure the amount of an effect this will have for the end user or if this is just different to streamline the construction process. Sadly, even though entering EVT, it appears as though we won’t be seeing these models for a long while, as Gurman states that these units will most likely arrive in the second part of the year.
Fortunately, Mac will purportedly add a couple of other items to its setup, with another MacBook Air 15-inch model, refreshed, 13-inch MacBook Air, and an all-new Macintosh Star. To the extent that what processors will show up in every item, that part isn’t really obvious, yet there is the opportunity we’ll get to see a blend of M2 and M3 processors, with the newest processors arriving in the MacBook Air and more power M2 processor showing up in different devices.
