MSI Pulse is an odd beast. It adheres to old-school gaming laptops. Styling all plastic and chunky aesthetics while packing some of the latest technology. PERFORMANCE AND OTHER FEATURES:
Performance from the RTX 3050 Ti is not bad and even the demanding title like Metro Exodus manages the reasonably 42fps which is with the RTX pretties flicked out. GPU of the laptop is another part of the performance and MSI has squeezed an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti, alongside that potentially powerful CPU. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti can handle the ray tracing pretties.
MSI Pulse GL66 is a tough laptop and to recommend to PC gamers. This is because once users have dropped the grand on a gaming laptop there is nothing guaranteed to give you buyer repentance more than favorite games causing it to crash or not run at anything like reasonable settings.
But there is some good news, the added thickness means there is more room for expansion. Nothing important is soldered into the board the M.2 NVMe SSD and RAM are all standard parts. MSI Pulse GL66 does not deliver where it needs to. From the gaming opinion, it just seems too expensive for what users get, mainly when the full benefit of that Core i7 is wasted. It’s great that it is easy to upgrade. Other specifications are fine.
