Apple at its event, unveiled the third-generation Airpods. The brand-new entry level pods are the successor to Airpods 2 that were unveiled in March 2019. Unlike the earlier version or the original pods that were launched back in 2016 the Apple airpods come with an updated design that looks quite similar to that of the Airpods Pro. There are shorter stems to provide a better grip and improved ergonomics. The next generation of pods also comes with a wireless charging case as standard that supports Apple MAGSAF. In addition to the brand new airpods apple brought the Apple music voice service and brand-new home pad mini color choices, namely blue, orange and yellow.

The most noticeable and significant change that the Apple AirPods bring is the Pro design. The ear buds also come with a force sensor for pressure controls just like the airpods pro.

The new airpods also includes a skin detect sensor that is claimed to help accurately discern if the ear buds are in the ear or in a pocket or on a table and pause playback when removed.
On the battery front tech company claims that the pods deliver an additional hour of battery life over the previous generations with up to six hours of listening time and up to four hours of talk time.
