With its recent announcement of the Blade 16 and Blade 18, you could have assumed Razer was ready to sunset its older Blade 15 PC. Not really: the organization is keeping the Blade 15 around for basically one more year while refreshing it with the most recent parts from Intel and NVIDIA. On Wednesday, Razer reported two new 2023 variations of the Blade 15.
Both feature 16GB of DDR5 RAM clocked at 5,200 MHz, 1TB SSDs, and Intel i7-13800H processors. The 13800H is a 14-center, 20-string chip with a maximum boost clock of 5.2GHz. For reference, all models of the Blade 16 accompany Intel’s leader 24-center i9-13950HX. That implies the Blade 15 won’t propose as much performance as the Blade 16, but it also won’t be a slouch.

A piece of that is thanks to the fact both new Blade 15 models accompany RTX 40 series GPUs. With today’s announcement, you can design the Blade 15 with either an RTX 4060 or RTX 4070 GPU. There are no 4090 choices like Razer offers with the Blade 16, possibly because of the interior space and warm limitations present with the smaller chassis.
You also won’t find the small Driven show choice that is one of the features of the Blade 16. The Edge 15 limits you to a 16:9 QHD IPS board with 100% DCI-P3 coverage and a 240Hz revive rate. That is a shame as 16:10 displays are much of the time more suited for efficiency undertakings, but normal since Razer didn’t redesign the Blade 15.
Somewhere else, the 2023 Blade 15 will be controlled by Intel’s Center i7-13800H specifically and either an RTX 4060 or RTX 4070 GPU. The display will have a 240Hz refresh rate and QHD goal. The two models incorporate 16GB of RAM (5200MHz double channel) and 1TB of stockpiling (PCIe Gen4 M.2).
The Blade 15 is accessible now with a beginning MSRP of $2,499.99. That is a good deal less expensive than the bigger Blade 16, which begins at $2,699.99.
