The improvements have been made in the Xbox series and the team at Xbox is placing video capture quality, and also sharing high on its priority list. Program management director at Xbox recently appeared on Iron Lords Podcast. At where he asks about the company plans for Game DVR on the consoles.
Director replied that: Surely it is the priority for the team that it is the one area the capture and the share experience. It is not sure that the team has not made any headway at all with the planned improvements.

He also recommends that Xbox users can join the Xbox insider program as it is the good way to get approach to the new features and the improvements and offer response on them. He also says that it is definitely an area that I wish were able to make more progress this year than we did not, but it will definitely be the priority for the year 2022.
